If you haven’t yet made it over to the Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane, Australia (for international readers) to see the Ron Mueck exhibition it’s worth the visit.
Ron Mueck is known for creating realistic sculptures which look perfect from all angles. Not only did all his work look amazingly real, but it was either much larger than life or incredibly small.
A few snaps I took of his work…
See the adult on the left side (in the shadows) for comparison to the size of this head.jpg)
The guy in the boat was the size of a 2-3 yr old toddler.jpg)
She is either huge or they are all tiny.jpg)
These two young whipper snappers were about 50-60 cm’s tall.jpg)
She was also tiny.jpg)
Saving the best for last…how real is this bunny?!?.jpg)
